2012 Drapers Footwear Awards to include accessories categories

Nominations for the 2012 Drapers Footwear Awards which, for the first time, will now include categories for accessories, are now being taken.

The Drapers Footwear & Accessories Awards recognise outstanding performance among the individuals, retailers and brands within this exciting and fast-paced sector.

This year, they have broadened the Drapers Footwear Awards programme to include accessories for the first time and have added a number of new categories to reflect the sheer diversity of this exciting industry.

The entry deadline for nominations is 27th January 2012, with the awards ceremony being held on Thursday 3rd May.

Separately, nominations are also being taken for the Footwear Industry Awards. These seek to recognise those in the industry who display innovation and forward thinking, alongside traditional sales and business acumen. With the support of the BFA, IFRA, Society of ShoeFitters and  Footwear Today, the Footwear Industry Awards will take place on the first night of the Moda Footwear Show on 19th February 2012. The deadline for nominations is Wednesday 30th November. Further details can be found on the Footwear Today website.
